Azca Auctions are delighted to present a collection of artworks from the studio of Hammersmith and Fulham based artist Elizabeth Duncan Meyer.

Born in 1940s London, Duncan Meyer's artistic development has included spells in Florence and Paris, though it is in London’s artistic landscape where she honed her craft and meticulous planning process. Her work with local organisations such as The London Print Studio has been complimented by regular exhibition both domestically - including exhibits at the National Society of Painters, Printmakers and Sculptors and Chelsea Art Club - and further afield such as her 1993 solo exhibition in Beijing.

Stylistically Duncan Meyer draws strong inspiration from the bold colours and forms of Expressionism and Cubism, her subjects ranging from abstract figures, flora and landscapes, to biblical episodes and iconography.

This collection of selected works includes wonderful examples of oil paintings, watercolours, collages and prints, as well as both wooden and stone sculptures.

Elizabeth will be a donating a portion of her proceeds to Aid to the Church in Need UK.

The artworks will be on view at our Hammersmith saleroom for the duration of August, culminating in a timed online auction ending on Monday, August 31st at 18:00 BST.

We will also be inviting guests to an evening with the artist on Tuesday August 25th - RSVP via Eventbrite and info@azcaauctions.com
