Comprising three drawers, a double door and two single curved door, an arrangement of five display shelves with fringes and aprons pierced with floral motifs, the central shelf with a back panel decorated with a magnificent scene with samurai in a landscape, two top shelfs backed with mirror panels beneath a shelf behind four sliding door, all resting on an ornate base with curved sides, carved and pierced with chrysanthemum blossoms, the doors and panles decorated in gilt lacquer and with mother of pearl and other inlays with birds among plants and blooming trees against bright gold ground, the borders with brocade patterns and foliate scrolls painted with gold lacquer
