Comprising three cuerda seca border pottery tiles, each of typical narrow, rectangular shape, painted in cobalt blue, turquoise, brown, purple, green, and yellow with black outlines on white ground, decorated with continuous rosette and saz leaves scrolls; and two cuerda seca square pottery tiles, painted in a similar palette, decorated with a large, cusped arabesque motif in-filled and surrounded with vegetal and floral patterns.
Each border tile 11.5cm x 24cm
Each square tile 22.5cm x 23.5cm

Following the success of our inaugural sale earlier this June, our Islamic and Indian Art department is pleased to present their upcoming auction, Arts of India and the Islamic Lands, which is now live on our website.
