With a short foot and a gently flared body painted in colourful enamels with a dense tapestry of a variety of overlapping blossoms, the rim embellished with gilt, the interior and base white, an iron-red seal mark to the centre of the base

A bowl of the same pattern has been offered at Sotheby's New York, June 2020, lot 843, pairs of bowls of the same pattern dated to the Jaqing period were sold at Christie's New York, in September 2008, lot 518 and March 2018, lot 819.
