Possibly Nishapur, Iran or Egypt, North Africa, 8th century and later

Each bangle of circular shape, made of clear light blue glass alternating bands of yellow and brown lines, enhanced with applied opaque white spikes, mounted, glazed and framed.

Each 6cm diameter

23.5cm x 28.7cm including the frame

For a very similar example attributed to the Islamic Lands and dating from the 7th - 15th century, please see the glass bracelet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (acc. no. 17.194.340).
