HERMÈS 'LES COUPÉS' SILK SCARF
First Edition Issue, c.1971-73

By Françoise de La Perrière. A fine early Hermès Paris silk twill scarf, 'Les Coupés' depicting 19th century carriage motifs arranged in a geometric pattern in tones of brown, orange and gold. Hand-rolled edges, signed 'F de La Perrière' to the border and printed Hermès (pre-labelled period.) This is a a rare colour-way, and the absence of a care tag confirms it is an early issue from the initial release of 1971-1973. (90cm x 90cm approx)

Provenance: from the private collection of a prominent British celebrity stylist.

Condition: in very good condition commensurate with age and gentle use with very light marks, no holes.
