Cast in the round, the bronze figurine representing a naked male figure standing on a lotus pedestal, the hands positioned as if he was playing an instrument, possibly a flute now missing, with an elaborate hairdo, scalloped tiara and heavy circular earrings, the subject a likely version of Krishna Venugopal, particularly popular in North and Central India.

A very similar bronze figurine of Krishna Venugopal standing on a lotus pedestal, dating to the 19th century, is part of the permanent collection of the Mathura Government Museum (Rashtriya Sangrahalaya, formerly The Curzon Museum of Archaeolgy) in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh (acc. no. 51-3606).
