A pair of leather accessories by the London gunmaker and luxury sporting outfitter James Purdey & Sons, comprising a brown chequered leather coat wallet with metal corner mounts (19cm x 10cm x 1cm) and a matching chequered leather coin tray with snap fastening (10cm x 7cm x 1cm) , both retaining original retail swing tags identifying the designs as Purdey chequered leather accessories. Purdey, founded in 1814 and long associated with British country sports and royal warrants, produces a range of traditional leather goods alongside its renowned sporting guns. Both pieces appear unused and retain original tags showing retail prices of £85 for the wallet and £55 for the coin tray.
Provenance: From a private collection.
Condition: Appears unused with original tags.
