A RARE FATIMID BRONZE PERFUME OR EYELINER FLASK
Fatimid Egypt, 9th-10th century
Featuring a rectangular body supported by four integral pointed feet. The elongated neck, embellished with incised geometric crosshatching and terminating in a slightly flared rim. The exterior is adorned on all four sides with incised circle-and-dot motifs arranged in vertical rows, framed by horizontal linear borders. A white rectangular collection label with the handwritten number '103248' is affixed to the shoulder.

One further unmissable highlight is the beautifully enamelled 18 carat gold pocket watch by Breguet et Fils, produced for the Ottoman market (lot 148). We are delighted also to present further pieces from the collection of Mr Georges Antaki in this auction, which promises something of interest for all collectors interested in Islamic and Indian art.
