Both boxes are crafted in the form of naturalistic gourds, each with lobed bodies and detachable lids, one featuring intricate scrollwork and floral repoussé with a coiled stalk finial, the other with chased leaf and chevron decoration and a stylized floral finial, both demonstrating fine local silversmith techniques characteristic of late 19th to early 20th-century Southeast Asian craftsmanship, possibly from Burma (Myanmar) or Laos, reflecting regional botanical symbolism and traditional motifs, both unmarked.

Each measuring approximately 6.5cm diameter
