THREE TURKISH BUTTERSCOTCH AMBER BEADS TASBIH ROSARY NECKLACES
Turkey, 20th century

Comprising two tasbih (or misbaha) rosary necklaces, each strung with thirty-three oval amber beads and a pyriform pendant in the middle decorated with silver wire tassels; and another necklace strung with ninety-nine small oval amber beads, with a coarse two-tone white and brown wool tassel, given the colours and material of the tassel the necklace most probably belonged to a Sufi dervish or pupil.

The longest 62.5cm

The overall weight 124.30gr.
