With an ovoid body rising from a straight foot, the flared neck extending to the front with a long pointed spout projecting from the galleried 'monk's cap' rim, the simple handle applied with a ruyi-head tab to the top, all under a thick, rich copper-red glaze draining from the rim, the interior and underside glazed white, the base with a six character Xuande mark in underglaze blue within a double line
