A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE 'THREE FRIENDS OF WINTER' CHARGER AND A FAMILLE ROSE 'LANDSCAPE' BOWL

Yongzheng / Qianlong period, 18th century

The charger painted with bamboo, an old pine and a prunus tree among large blossoms and lingzhi fungus, all within a spearhead border, the bowl decorated with a landscape of pagodas scattered among trees and boulders.

Provenance: the Claudio Perino Collection, Turin, acquired mostly in Japan in early 2000s.
