TWO CARVED WOODEN LANDSCAPE VIEWS OF THE ISLAMIC HOLY SITES, MECCA AND MEDINA

Each wooden plaque of rectangular shape, deeply carved with horizontal landscape views of the two holiest sites of Islam, one plaque featuring the inner compound of Kaba in Mecca, the latter the inner courtyard of the Masjid an-Nabawi and the mosque's minarets in Medina, each view encased within a band of cusped calligraphic cartouches with salat al-tasabeeh, a collection of Arabic prayers praising Allah and his qualities, interspersed amidst roundels bearing the name of Allah, set in wooden frames.
