A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GREEN VEINED MARBLE AND ORMOLU MOUNTED LIDDED VASES AFTER A DESIGN BY JEAN BERAIN (1640 - 1711), each of squat bulging form, with ormolu mounts comprising an artichoke form knop and tapering strips, united with foliate swags to the top and bands at the waist, set with lion masks, each bearing a ring in their teeth and rosettes beneath, stood on lion's paw feet on a quatreform base
