An elegant ivory silk satin column style wedding gown overlayed in corded floral lace, with scooped neck line, fitted boned bodice and short fitted sleeves with gently flared fishtail hem reflecting Catherine Walker's restrained couture aesthetic and the refined bridal silhouette of late 20th century London design. Catherine Walker was notably a favourite designer of Diana, the late Princess of Wales, whose commissions helped define late 20th century British elegance. Original retail price £3500 in 1990.
