Catchwords and notes in the margins. Wrapped in modern binding. This book is a commentary (sharh) on Shudhur al‑Dhahab, a concise grammatical text, systematically explaining its phrases and rules while covering major topics of Arabic syntax and morphology. It is widespread and remains a standard reference in traditional Arabic grammatical studies.

Jamal Din Ibn Hisham was a prominent scholar of Arabic grammar and linguistics. His most renowned work being his commentary on Ibn Malik’s Alfiyya, a thousand-line poem on grammar. He is celebrated as a major figure in the field of Arabic language studies.
